This is the real Karate Kid.  He’s going to be 7 in a couple months.

When we were looking around the store for what he wanted for his birthday, this is the stuff that made his eyes glaze over: 

We were hoping he’d pick a bike, but this is where his head is at.  Maybe his heart too. He’s got tons of this around the house.  We build them, he plays with them a couple of days, and they get scattered and dumped with a million other pieces.  At least with a bike, it’ll be something he plays with much longer.

Ok, did you notice the price tag on this thing?  Yeah – $79.88!

Jonny’s going to be 7.  I wouldn’t have expected the choices he makes today to be that all that mature.  By the time he’s 27, I hope he’s not following the masses.

Entrepreneurs are a rare breed.  We do think differently.  But somebody’s gotta keep the spirit of free enterprise alive!

One of the beauties of an internet based business – having fun making money.

When you have a home based business, you could build your business from a spare room. But when you have a totally internet based business, you can build your business from your house or your back yard, on the road, or from a world class resort.

I needed to make some videos for my affiliate membership site. Instead of a talking head, or me standing in front of a white board, I thought it’ll be cool to tape at a beach resort.  My wife started looking for places to go and picked the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the island of Hawaii. Pools, beach, lagoons, poolside hot tubes, water slides, and waterfalls. That’s why it’s listed as one of the top resorts for families. 

Since the kids were on school break, we figured we’d take them along too. Besides the resort, we also checked out volcanoes, real waterfalls, constellations, the Hilo farmer’s market, and a museum.

So what about business?  Yeah, I did that too. But trust me, working here’s nothing like working at a job. No boss, deadlines, or stress. Not constantly at someone else’s beck and call. Just having fun making money.

Here’s the work I did; I outlined some scripts for a series of secret tip videos for new entrepreneurs, and taped the videos. There was about 10 videos. Each one was less than 5 minutes long. I know – hard work. But someone’s got to do it.
