Fun Making Money

Whoever said making money is hard work must have been an employee.  When you have a job, even if it’s something you really enjoy doing – having someone telling you to do it, when to do it, and how they want it done, every day, for 40 years…can’t be fun. 

That is painful. The only way you could get pleasure out of that is if you’re a masochist. Someone that enjoys pain.  Or you just don’t know any better.

Even if you owned your own conventional business, like a store or restaurant, you’re still a slave.  Except the evil slave master is your company now instead of a boss.

The picture above is my wife and I hard at work at the Hilton Waikoloa Village.  Ok, maybe I’m not working.

Here’s me working.

Believe it or not, I really was working and not just posing.  Although I gotta admit, I did get pretty good at looking busy when I really wasn’t at the job.

But my point is, I would choose this over a cubicle any day!  Who wouldn’t?   Someone who was told all their young life to go to school, get a good education, and get a good job. 

What they didn’t tell you was that you would have to work very, very, very hard for very, very, very long for very, very, very little.  For 4 to 5 DECADES!  Or until you die.  Who in their right mind would choose that!? Someone who didn’t know any better.  That is a lot of programming to overcome.  And you don’t know what you don’t know.

So that’s my mission; to bring back the American Dream.  And I’m not talking about owning your own home – that’s a nightmare for a lot of people today.  I’m talking about owning your own business!  But do it in a way that let’s you live free to pursue the lifestyle of your dreams.

Growing A Global Business From A Mobile Office

One of the beauties of an internet based business – having fun making money.

When you have a home based business, you could build your business from a spare room. But when you have a totally internet based business, you can build your business from your house or your back yard, on the road, or from a world class resort.

I needed to make some videos for my affiliate membership site. Instead of a talking head, or me standing in front of a white board, I thought it’ll be cool to tape at a beach resort.  My wife started looking for places to go and picked the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the island of Hawaii. Pools, beach, lagoons, poolside hot tubes, water slides, and waterfalls. That’s why it’s listed as one of the top resorts for families. 

Since the kids were on school break, we figured we’d take them along too. Besides the resort, we also checked out volcanoes, real waterfalls, constellations, the Hilo farmer’s market, and a museum.

So what about business?  Yeah, I did that too. But trust me, working here’s nothing like working at a job. No boss, deadlines, or stress. Not constantly at someone else’s beck and call. Just having fun making money.

Here’s the work I did; I outlined some scripts for a series of secret tip videos for new entrepreneurs, and taped the videos. There was about 10 videos. Each one was less than 5 minutes long. I know – hard work. But someone’s got to do it.
